Caring for children with developmental and behavioral disorders can be challenging for families. At Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), experts from the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics are available to support your child and your family. Our division is the largest in the tri-state region offering comprehensive care to children with developmental and behavioral disorders. Our multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists and others provide:

  • Inpatient care to medically fragile youth
  • Outpatient care to children who are medically stable but require intensive intervention

Depending on your child’s needs and treatment plan, your child may see audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech-language pathologists. Pediatric patients may be referred to a specialty program at CHOP for additional assessment and treatment.
