Trisomy 21 Program
The Trisomy 21 Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia evaluates, treats and provides coordinated multidisciplinary care for children and adults with trisomy 21 — also known as Down syndrome.
A year into the COVID-19 pandemic, Bryant’s family received a wake-up call from the staff at the Trisomy 21 Program. Instead of steadily improving since his last visit, Bryant’s behavior had become troublesome, he’d gained a significant amount of weight and his blood work was concerning.
Our Programs and Services
The Trisomy 21 team consists of experts who specialize in caring for both pediatric and adult patients with trisomy 21, including pediatricians, neurologists, nurse practitioners, physical therapists and social workers.
