Background

Alyssa Butkus joined the Sports Medicine and Performance Center physical therapy team in 2015 and works at CHOP's Specialty Care Center in King of Prussia.

Alyssa has experience working in the outpatient physical therapy setting, specializing in management and treatment of orthopedic conditions, adolescent sports medicine and concussion and vestibular rehabilitation for patients of all ages.

Alyssa’s areas of interest include sports injury rehabilitation and prevention for all athletes, with particular interest in management and treatment of gymnastics specific injuries. In addition, Alyssa has a special interest in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation and obtained her Vestibular and Concussion Certification (AIB-VR/CON) through the American Institute of Balance.
