In a year filled with uncertainty, the 2020 CHOP Buddy Walk rallied to create a virtual event to celebrate the entire Down syndrome community.

Buddy Walk Virtual Edition participants Throughout the month of October, you created teams filled with family and friends to complete challenges at home while raising funds and awareness for CHOP’s Trisomy 21 Program. Team Evan, Abby’s Army of Angels and Porter’s Peeps finished as our top three fundraising teams, respectively, surpassing their goals and highlighting their advocates in extra special ways.

With everyone’s generosity and hard work, CHOP Buddy Walk raised more than $177,000 (and counting) for the Trisomy 21 Program! These funds assist the program with toolkits, initiatives and research to improve the lives of your children.

To continue the celebration, we have a fun surprise coming this March for World Down Syndrome Day on March 21. More information coming soon!
