Unique Alliance Brings CHOP Neonatal Care Services to Area Medical Center

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Einstein Healthcare Network recently formed a unique alliance to provide neonatal, newborn and maternal care and pediatric emergency services in one location on the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery campus (Einstein Montgomery), in East Norriton, Pa. CHOP now leads the professional services in Einstein’s newborn nursery and neonatal intensive care unit.

Einstein Healthcare Network is a leading healthcare system with approximately 1,000 licensed beds serving the communities of Philadelphia and Montgomery County, Pa. Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is the largest independent academic medical center in the Philadelphia region, annually training more than 3,500 health professionals and 400 residents in more than 30 accredited programs. Einstein Montgomery features a new maternal-children’s center.
