Homeless Health Initiative Annual Report
Homeless Health Initiatives’ (HHI) work continued to be supported by the CHOP Community Relations team and several Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) from the hospital throughout 2018.
The Inclusion in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (iSTEM) ERG held special events at St. Barnabas Mission. A collection of other ERGs organized and supported HHI’s back-to-school supplies drive and the holiday gift drive.
Karen Hudson was invited to participate in CHOP’s Information Services (IS) Town Hall in November. Volunteer opportunities at the Office of Immigration & Visa Services, Girls Exploring Tomorrow’s Technology and HHI were shared with IS employees to encourage their involvement in volunteer activities.
