At Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), we understand how scary it can be for both your child and you when they struggle to breathe. Our Asthma Program specializes in getting a child's asthma under control so they can enjoy a full, active childhood. We evaluate and treat babies, children and teens with asthma and other lung and breathing problems.

Our goal is to work together with your family to successfully manage your child's asthma. From knowing what triggers asthma symptoms to making sure you have the best possible treatment plan and feel informed and empowered, we'll help get your child's asthma under control and keeping it that way. This will mean fewer missed school days, emergency room visits and hospital stays.

How we serve you

Every child's asthma is different. Our Asthma Program also offers related services to help when your child's asthma is especially hard to get under control. Learn more about these programs.
