Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center
Thanks to advances in medical and surgical care, children with congenital heart defects (CHD) are surviving into adulthood — and thriving. At CHOP, our commitment to our patients lasts a lifetime, from before birth through childhood, into adolescence and on to adulthood. The Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center, located in the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, treats all types of congenital heart conditions in adults, including those complicated by heart rhythm problems, heart failure, pregnancy and pacemakers.
