The Safety Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is dedicated to keeping kids safe. We offer a variety of safety products at affordable prices, making injury prevention easier and more accessible for our community.
Our friendly and knowledgeable safety specialists are available to answer your questions and offer expert guidance on everything from car seat selection to home safety. Schedule an appointment with our team.

Our center is located on the P1 level of the Buerger Building. We are open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Car seat selection and installation
Choosing the right child safety seat for your child’s age and size can be challenging. We’re here to help! At our Safety Center, we’ll assist you in selecting the right seat and demonstrate proper use. Our in-person and virtual car seat checks offer hands-on support to ensure your child’s safety seat is installed correctly.
Mobile Safety Center
The Mobile Safety Center travels to various community events throughout the Philadelphia area to provide injury prevention guidance by Injury Prevention experts and safety products sold at-cost.
