Megan Beam, PT, DPT, PCS

Megan E. Beam, PT, DPT, PCS, is a board-certified pediatric clinical specialist and physical therapist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) with more than 15 years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation. Her clinical expertise includes pediatric vestibular rehabilitation, balance and dizziness disorders, developmental conditions, and general pediatric physical therapy. She has particular expertise in pediatric vestibular and balance disorders and has provided education on pediatric vestibular rehabilitation to rehabilitation professionals and other healthcare providers.

In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as an Education and Development Coordinator within CHOP’s rehabilitation network. In this role, she leads and supports initiatives in clinical education, professional development, competency-based training and workforce development. She plays a leadership role in CHOP’s physical therapy clinical education program, supporting academic partnerships and the development of students, clinical instructors and rehabilitation professionals across the organization.

Dr. Beam is also involved in professional education and scholarship. She contributes to Doctor of Physical Therapy education at Arcadia University and Thomas Jefferson University and serves as an invited peer reviewer for *Physical Therapy (PTJ)* and *Pediatric Physical Therapy*. She has presented nationally and internationally on pediatric vestibular rehabilitation, concussion rehabilitation and other topics in pediatric physical therapy.

Her professional interests include evidence-based pediatric rehabilitation, clinical education, mentorship, and supporting the professional development of current and future physical therapists.
