Biliary and Pancreatic Tumors

Tumors in the biliary system and the pancreas are rare in children, and can be either benign or malignant (cancerous), as in pancreatoblastoma. Sometimes, pancreatic tumors can occur as part of a syndrome like von Hippel-Lindau syndrome, Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 1, and others.
