The CHOP Specialty Care Center in Abington, PA, provides pediatric outpatient specialty medical services and ancillary testing to children and families in Montgomery County. All care is provided by physicians and support staff who are members of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

CHOP Specialty Care, Abington has expanded in recent years to meet the growing needs of our community. Our location also has pediatric after-hours Urgent Care for children with urgent medical needs on evenings and weekends when their doctor’s office isn’t available.

Our address is 1840 Susquehanna Road, Abington, PA, at the intersection of Old York Road (Route 611) and Susquehanna Road. The state-of-the-art, two-floor 37,000-square-foot facility offers:

  • A variety of pediatric specialties
  • Free parking
  • Onsite testing services such as audiology, speech therapy, radiology (diagnostic imaging offered on-site, including X-ray, MRI (with or without sedation, contrast), ultrasound, and low-dose 3-D EOS imaging for spine conditions like scoliosis), electroencephalography (EEG), echocardiography, spirometry, and pulmonary function testing
  • Appointments with our Diagnostic Center — which serves the most difficult-to-diagnose children and those with complex care needs

Built from the ground up, the facility was designed with families in mind. It offers the same CHOP-quality care families have come to know and value, with more pediatric services and specialists than ever before (scroll down for a list), giving families more of what they need, conveniently right in their community.
