CHOP Hosts Annual Prom for Patients and Families

Speaker 1: We will be having our prom that will occur on each unit throughout the hospital. Each unit is going to be a different country, city, place around the world, decked out in decorations. And we will have a couple game shows throughout the day, prom bingo, and then our DJ here to mix up some tunes for our dance party.

Something like CHOP Prom is especially important for normalizing the hospital experience, providing patients with an opportunity to go to prom. This really gives them a chance to experience prom, get ready, get dressed up, and kind of forget about being in the hospital for even just an evening like this.
