AAP 2023
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is the nation's first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. Since our start in 1855, CHOP has been the birthplace for countless breakthroughs and dramatic firsts in pediatric medicine. Today, families facing complex conditions come to CHOP from all over the world, and our compassionate care and innovation has repeatedly earned us a spot on the U.S. News & World Report's Honor Roll of the nation's best children's hospitals.

Complete Care for Every Child at Every Stage
At CHOP, we believe each child deserves the best care no matter their age, geographic location, condition or illness — which includes mental illness because mental health IS health.
As children grow and experience illness or injury, CHOP is ready to care for their physical health needs and mental health needs to restore them to health.
To enhance the care for children and youth who we don’t see directly, we offer a wide range of medical educational opportunities and resources to their clinicians and accessible online resources to their families. The goal: Share our expertise to improve overall child health through the years.
