2017 Friedreich's Ataxia Symposium

Every year, the Friedreich's Ataxia Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia holds a one-day symposium to provide patients and families with up-to-date clinical information, therapeutic approaches and current research being conducted in the field of Friedreich's ataxia (FA). The tenth annual Friedreich's Ataxia Symposium was held on Oct. 16, 2017.

Topics included: development of biomarkers in FA, gene therapy for FA, clinical trials and the treatment pipeline, metabolic and endocrine studies in FA, cardiac updates, adaptive clothing, and more.
