Mary: Parkway Run Patient Ambassador 2013

Mary was treated for brain cancer at the Cancer Center at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). CHOP chose Mary to be a Childhood Cancer Awareness Month spokesperson and an ambassador for the Cancer Center's largest annual fundraiser, the Four Seasons Parkway Run & Walk, because she brightens the day of every person she meets.

Mary, 4, Brain Tumor

Mary: The people on the bus go up and down, up and down, up and down. The people on the bus go up and down, all through the town.

Photographer: I want to see those beautiful eyes right in the camera. Good job.

Mary's Mother: Mary had surgery here at CHOP to have a brain tumor removed.

Mary: I had some icky stuff inside me.

Interviewer: And what happened to it?

Mary: And now they took it all out.

Mary's Mother: The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is amazing. We need money for research. Run for my daughter. Run for all of us.
