About the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (GI)
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (GI) at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia provides multidisciplinary care at the Main Building in Philadelphia and at several outpatient locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. No matter which location you choose, your child will receive comprehensive, high-quality care from our physicians, certified nurse practitioners, nutritionists and psychologists.
Our commitment to family-centered care means that you and your family are considered members of your child's healthcare team. You will always be included in discussions related to your child's diagnosis, treatment plan and progress. Our team performs many diagnostic tests and some interventions in the Kohl's GI Nutrition and Diagnostic Center, CHOP's state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.
Our team approach also includes primary care physicians and pediatricians — our partners in the care of your child. We provide your child's physicians with regular updates about his progress. We are also available to answer questions, discuss any concerns and provide follow-up information about your child’s continued care.
